Bill Griffith
Guest Speaker Profile

TV Anchor of San Diego 10News This Morning and 10News Midday
To many San Diegans, Bill Griffith is the dean of San Diego television, in part because he's been on the air with 10News since February of 1976 (the longest continuing tenure at one station by anyone currently working in the market), and in part because he has done just about everything there is to do in broadcast news. Since arriving in town at the age of 27, Bill has been a 10News weekend anchor, sports director, talk show host, magazine show host, and since 1996, the co-anchor of 10News Live at 5am, 6am, and 11am.

Award-Winning Journalist
During that time, Bill has earned multiple Emmy and Golden Mike awards as well as the coveted Drew Silvern Award from the San Diego Press Club, in recognition of his "courage in the pursuit of journalism while still upholding the highest standards of ethics, fairness and truth."

Cancer Victor
Bill earned the Silvern award in 2004 for reporting on his six-month battle with male breast cancer—an extremely rare disease in men, and one which is often fatal. Bill took 10News viewers, and those who visited his site on 10News.com, on his deeply personal journey through diagnosis, surgery and chemotherapy. Tens of thousands from all over the world read his online journal, and thousands more emailed encouragement, support and requests for advice.

The Bunnell Strings
A Family of Five
Award-Winning String Musicians

Shortly after learning to walk, Cara, Corrie, Keren, Kimberly, and Ross Bunnell each began learning to play the violin using the Suzuki String Method. They've never stopped playing. As their studies advanced and they developed individually, each found his or her own role in what has blossomed into a professional string quintet. Additionally, each has been an
invaluable member of larger ensembles, including the San Diego Youth Symphony, City Ballet of San Diego, and the Christian Community Theater.

Award winners in numerous competitions, the Bunnell Strings enjoy frequent appearances as guest musicians for local music societies and corporate events. Now ages 15–22, the five musicians grew up locally in Chula Vista. Their instruments include bass, cello, and violin.

Reserved Seating for More Than One
How to Complete the Registation Online

Ticket buyers may not have the names of all seven (or nine) guests they're inviting to sit at their reserved table. These ticket buyers may enter their own names into all of the guest fields in the online reservation form. During the week of September 12, Coronado Coffee will email a request for the first and last names of all reserved-table seat holders so that pre-printed name badges will be waiting for all guests at the reception table on the night of the event.
